Ingredients

  • 1 beef medallion or small beef fillet steak
  • 75g lighter puff pastry
  • 60g chestnut mushrooms
  • 1 shallot
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Splash of water

To serve:

  • Red cabbage
  • Roasted carrots
  • Green beans
  • Homemade gravy
