Mini Donuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C Fan / Gas Mark 4.
  2. Lightly spray a mini donut mould with low-calorie cooking spray.
  3. In a bowl, mix the porridge oats or Ready Brek, sweetener, egg, yogurt and vanilla essence until smooth.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the donut moulds, filling each cavity evenly.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly golden.
  6. Leave to cool completely before removing from the moulds.
  7. Decorate with your chosen toppings and sprinkles.

Slimming World Value

The donut base can be counted as a Healthy Extra B choice if using 40g oats.

Alternatively, if dividing the batch into mini donuts and not eating the whole portion, many slimmers choose to count the oats at approximately 1 Syn per mini donut, then add the Syn values of any toppings used.

Most finished donuts work out at approximately 4–6 Syns each, depending on the toppings and quantities used.

Tip

Measure all toppings carefully and calculate Syns based on the exact amounts you use to help protect your weight loss.
